Target Overstock Warehouse and More of My Charlotte Favorites
This post is for all of my Charlotte people! I could not leave Charlotte, NC without doing a full rundown of all my favorite places to shop the best home finds. The Target overstock warehouse game is hot in Charlotte. But there is also thrifting, antiquing, outlet shopping and more!
Target Overstock Warehouse in Charlotte, NC
As of now, I will post my knowledge of the target overstock warehouses. The hard thing about this is that it is ever changing. There seems to be new target warehouses popping up all of the time, and then some favorites closing way too soon.
724 Montana Drive – All New & Cheap– M-F 11-7, Sat 11-6, Sun 11-5 – This has by far been the most stocked warehouse with consistent new inventory. The pricing is usually around 40% retail although he does sometimes try to go a bit higher. He will give you a better discount if you pay with cash and is usually willing to negotiate if you are purchasing multiple items. Our barstool are from here!
2835 Jeff Adams – M-F 11:30-6, Sat 12-6, Sun 12:30-3 – I never actually found anything at this specific warehouse to buy, but they did seem to have a large, fully stocked warehouse most of the time.
2210 North Tryon St. Unit C – 1:30-5 – This is a recently opened warehouse and the pricing is not great. I didn’t try to negotiate much, but his pricing seemed to be much higher than 40% off for larger items. This store did have a variety of store brands, not just Target.
4614 Suite L-1 Wilgrove Mint Hill Rd- Mon-Sat 10-6 – This small spot opened up in our little town of Mint Hill. Its fun to pop in if you live close but probably not worth the drive if you aren’t local.
Other Liquidation Warehouses
There are two other big warehouses outside of Charlotte that I liked to go to. They don’t carry Target, but carry other very well known and popular home brands.
Pallet Place 911 E White St in Rock Hill, SC M-F 10-5, Sat 10-3 – A large variety of brands are carried here. Most of their home furnishings are World Market. They are great at updating their social media with new inventory. Our kitchen chairs are from here!
Deals Gone Wild 2312 Rufus Ratchford Road Gastonia, NC M-Sat 11:30-5, Sun 12-4 – This warehouse is large and has a variety of brands. World Market, Pottery Barn, CB2, Crate and Barrel and more. His pricing is very consistently at least 40%. He gives a bigger discount for higher ticket items from the more expensive stores. I found our Brass Bed here!
Thrifting and Antiquing
I’m not a huge thrift or antique store shopper but I do enjoy it some. There are endless options in the Charlotte area, but I quickly found some I loved.
Sleepy Poet Antique Mall – A friend introduced me to this mall and it’s where I found my set of copper pots, so I will always love it! It is a large antique mall with mostly great pricing. You can negotiate pricing on more expensive items.
Catawba River Antique Mall – This was always a favorite because it is close to our favorite soda and cookie shop, Twisted Sugar. I found a lot of great smaller items here. Some of the booths are more pricey but most are really reasonable.
Goodwill– Pineville and Weddington locations- Thrifting is always going to be hit and miss but I did have the best luck at these two locations.
Golden Oldies– This one is in High Point, right across from the location for High Point Market, which happens twice a year. They have a variety of antiques, vintage and new items. If you go right before High Point starts, you will have a lot to pick from! During High Point, it was very busy and a ton of items were already sold. This is where I bought the bread boards in my dining room.
What About Outlets??
While there are endless Target overstock warehouses within Charlotte city limits, most of the outlets are a bit of a drive.
Frontgate Outlet– This is the only big name outlet I visited that is in Charlotte. The normal prices here are higher, so even at discounted rates they are a little steep, but a great value if you love the brand. Most stuff seemed to be in really great condition. There were not a lot of damaged items.
Crate and Barrell and Pottery Barn Outlet- For more outlets can drive to South Carolina. About 1.5 hours away in Gaffney, you will find a Crate and Barrell and Pottery Barn outlet. I had good luck with the Crate and Barrell Outlet and they keep their inventory very updated on their facebook page.
Ashville Outlets– This is a long drive, but worth mentioning. Here you will find a West Elm Outlet, Crate and Barrel Outlet and Restoration Hardware Outlet. All of which were all very well stocked when I visited.
Visiting a Target Overstock Warehouse
Please keep in mind that the Target Overstock Warehouse locations may change and this is applicable to when I wrote it. I did my best to provide all of the information I have, but as time goes on I can’t guarantee the accuracy of it and suggest you verify by googling the address or finding them on Facebook marketplace before visiting!
